We’re delighted to have you join us for this week’s update from PREreview.org!

What’s new at PREreview?

This week we worked behind the scenes to set up for our next big release. By the end of next week, we’re hoping to launch our newest request-a-review feature on PREreview.org itself. This new feature will help authors and other stakeholders in need of feedback request PREreviews from our community of reviewers passionate about open, peer preprint review. We hope this new way to request reviews will lead to better matchmaking and more feedback for authors early in the scholarly communications process.

We are now testing how to make and display requests on PREreview,.org, as well as how to share requests back and forth between the website and the request-a-review channel of our community Slack. Expect more new - and the chance to try this out for yourself - next week.

What’s next?

Once we have our next request-a-review feature in place, we’ll begin work on bringing search back to PREreview.org in a way that helps users find requests and published PREreviews that are most relevant to them.
